Life Insurance - Benefit provides basic financial protection to a plan member's beneficiary in the event of their passing. The plan provides life coverage in multiples of the member's salary, or as a flat amount.

Dependant Life Insurance - Benefit provides a flat amount to assist in providing financial protection for a plan member in the event of a spouse or child's death.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) - Benefit will generally match the life benefit and will provide an additional benefit if a plan member dies, loses the use of a limb, is paralyzed or loses hearing, speech or sight as a result of an accident.

Short Term Disability (STD) - Benefit provides replacement of lost income if a plan member is temporarily unable to work because of total disability. A plan will cover injuries and illnesses not related to work until the time when a member is able to return to work, or until Long Term Disability Benefits start. STD may also provide coverage for rehabilitation to ensure members fully recover and return to a productive and self-sufficient lifestyle.

Long Term Disability (LTD) - Benefit will provide financial assistance if a plan member cannot work for an extended period of time because of total disability. It supplements disability benefits available from government programs. LTD may also provide coverage for rehabilitation to ensure members fully recover and return to a productive and self-sufficient lifestyle.

Extended Health Care - Benefit helps plan members and their dependants pay for necessary medical expenses that are not covered by their provincial plans. You can choose annual deductible amounts that members pay as well as reimbursement levels.

Dental Care - Benefit provides financial assistance to plan members and their dependants to help pay for necessary dental expenses that are not covered by their provincial plans. Health Care Spending Account - These accounts are designed to allow plan sponsors to supplement the products and services their group benefit plan covers.

Employee Assistance Program - This program helps to provide the advice and support employees need as it relates to their individual medical circumstances. Plans can include counseling, information & resources, referrals among other things.

Group Critical Illness Insurance - Generally a lump sum benefit to help employees protect themselves and their families if they should face a serious illness.

Cost Plus - Benefit usually extended to designated classes of employees and their eligible dependants to provide coverage beyond the base group benefit plan.
